tenerife apartments?

Booked Playa Olid apartments. Has anyone been to them and what are the like. Ages 57 & 52. Are they full of young people

I haven’t stayed at the Olid but used to live on the island. From memory the Oild is aimed mainly at families, there some good beaches nearby and plenty choice for eating out, you are a reasonable distance away from Veronicas which is the main clubbing area.
You will almost certainly at some time during you stay come into contact with the African street sellers whosell mainly cheap sun glasses, watches and plated gold chains or the Time Share Touts who are sometimes giving away scratch cards (you always win but never get the prize) or it may be a Holiday survey in either case its a method to drawing you in.
In both cases if you don’t want to get involve no matter how persistent they are use a firm but polite “no thank you”.
