Is it very difficult to get direct flights from London to Gran Canaria in January?
We want to get a bit of winter sun. I’ve been looking into the Canary Islands. It’s very easy to get holidays to Tenerife, but we went there last year. Whenever I try to look for holidays to Gran Canaria The only holidays I find have flights which change in Madrid. Is it a bad time to get direct flights? We have a toddler, so the thought of a 9/10 hour journey fills me with dread. If not can anyone recommend anywhere else in the Canary Islands which is easy to get to? Or anywhere else which is warm in January for that matter?
Easyjet have 21 flights from London Gatwick to Las Palmas airport, in Gran Canaria, during January ‘09. The cheapest return is £91.79p inclusive of all taxes, charges and hold baggage.
You will find it difficult to find another company offering so much choice, at such reasonable prices.
Good luck.
