Whats the best cd course etc you have brought to learn spanish quickly?

Ok Here is my little story.
I am half Spanish and half Englishh and have always been interested in learning Spanish. I am now fed up of the amount of cds that I have stuck to and learnt nothing.
I know the Basics! Hola Como estas blah de blah because whenever I go over to Tenerife my nan talks it and funnily enough I understand what they are talking about. I just want to be able to speak it fluently so I can talk to my family. Ive asked my mum butunfortunatelyy my mumisn’tt a very good teacher the only person who was good was my nan but she is all the way out in Tenerife
Anyone here who has been in this position and managed to learn it fluently? x

If you use the Michel Thomas foundation and advanced courses, you should be at Spanish fluency level within 13 hours. However, the Michel Thomas method is more about studying the language. You will learn to make sentences such as “it will not be very logical but it could be possible for me to do it like that”, which make you sound fluent, however you learn very little vocabulary. If however you buy a Spanish dictionary, you can use it for words you don’t know and then use the Michel Thomas method to make the sentences.
