What is the best airline to use within Spain – Barcelona to Tenerife?

Are there bargains to be had after we arrive in Spain that we cannot book here in the U.S.? We plan to fly from Philadelphia to Barcelona, and then, several days later, Barcelona to Tenerife – then probably back to Barcelona to fly home, though we are flexible on that as long as it doesn’t cost extra.

For price Spanair is, without doubt, the cheapest operating on the route Barcelona to Tenerife (South). Air Europa & Iberia are also flying that route but are more expensive, especially Iberia.
Veuling, whilst being a low cost airline, don’t fly to Tenerife from Barcelona.
Clickair offers another option, but that is from Barcelona to Tenerife (North), not so popular, or convenient, for tourists.
