Anyone been to Golf Del Sur/Los Abrigos in Tenerife ?

Thinking about going in November and wondered what sort of area it is, i.e. beaches, restaurants, decent clothes shops etc. Don’t want to know about hotels !

I live not far from there myself and Golf del Sur is currently being upgraded it now has a new harbour and new bars along with a new prom which stretches from Amarilla Golf to virtually El Medano (the windsurfer´s paradise). There are some wonderful restuarants and if you like fish then you will be in heaven!
As for decent shops …. NO! you would need to take a bus into either Santa Cruz which is the Capital or the other way into Los Cristianos where the selection is available but not so many. November is a great time of year to be here not too hot and yet still warm enough for most people on holiday to wander around in t-shirts during the day and just (maybe only maybe) a cardigan or long sleeves in the evenings.
