What is zante like for violence in clubs. is it as bad as playa de las americas in tenerife?

I am going to zante next year and i plan to stay in on of the quiet resorts. can any one give me tips on avoiding pissed up idiots(other than “don’t go”)

Stay away from Laganas at night – that is the worst place to go.
Generally Zante is a quiet place, and there are lovely clubs and bars on the site of Vassilikos.
Laganas is however hell.
