help needed ASAP !!!!?

i am planning a surprise trip away this new year for my boyfriend but i dont have a clue where to go ?? any ideas ??
i live in the uk and i am wanting to go somewhere nice that will be full of festive spirit over new year!!
not sure to go for tenerife for the sun,
or to go to a city and have it feel more lyk christmas ??
please help me and give me some suggestions time is running out !
